About the Artist

Self-taught traditional oil painter and Air Force veteran capturing the beauty that surrounds in the Palmer Divide, Colorado, the Air Force Academy, and beyond

Colorado Artist Glory Paulson

Glory (Smith) Paulson is a self-taught American oil painter, living and creating most of her paintings on a ridge in the Rocky Mountain foothills of Larkspur, Colorado, as well as family camping travels around the Rocky Mountains and to the Pacific.

A 2002 Air Force Academy graduate and former Air Force Public Affairs Officer, she now part-time home educates her 4 children and spends time oil painting, offering her artwork for sale since 2020.

Glory uses traditional oil paints to create landscapes that highlight the surrounding beauty in the Palmer Divide, the Air Force Academy, Colorado, and beyond. She also loves to paint traditional still life highlighting the simple things in life.
