About the Artist
Glory Paulson specializes in traditional, classic oil paintings. These U.S. Air Force Academy Class Color paintings are Glory's most abstract works. Before becoming an artist, she served in the U.S. Air Force after graduating USAFA and later lived as a military spouse and homeschool mom.
For those with special interest in USAFA, Glory graduated from the Air Force Academy in 2002 ("No Limits"), where she studied Political Science and French. She was in cadet squadrons 32 ("Catch us if you can!") and 10, but both years in CS-10 she lived on Group Staff as an Honor Officer. She ran varsity Cross Country and Track and participated in Youth With a Mission. Some fun experiences included French Immersion in Nice, France; Army Airborne; and a trip to Israel sponsored by JINSA (Jewish Institute of National Security Affairs).
After USAFA, Glory worked as a Public Affairs Officer for the 100th Air Refueling Wing at RAF Mildenhall, England -- a dream assignment where she enjoyed mixing with the base and local community, as well as contingents throughout Europe. The assignment allowed her to travel Europe and even the Far East for work and for pleasure. She then briefly worked as a PAO in the 28th Bomb Wing at Ellsworth AFB near the Black Hills in South Dakota.
After her Air Force service, Glory married and became a military spouse to a former USAFA XC/Track teammate, and their family eventually grew with 4 children who they mainly homeschool.
Glory enjoyed a free-range childhood in a small Minnesota town, the sixth of seven children.
She now resides, paints, and adventures in Larkspur, Colorado, where she lives with her family.
