Hosmer Visitor Center Opening Ceremony

Presentation of two commissioned paintings.
Both paintings feature the new state-of-the-art Hosmer Visitor Center that sits at the North Gate of the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. The HVC educates visitors on the life of cadet life. The paintings were presented to generous donors Mr Jerry Bruni (USAFA '70) and his wife, Pam, and Lt Gen Bradley (USAFA '59) and his wife, Zita.

Wecker Hall Opening Ceremony

Presentation of commissioned painting.
This painting features Wecker Hall, U.S. Air Force Academy, named after lead donors Dr. William Wecker (USAFA Class of 1963) and his late spouse, Mary Linn Wecker. Wecker Hall serves as the new Air Force Academy Foundation headquarters, and it is the first net-zero energy facility located on a U.S. Air Force base.

This painting features the Madera Cyber Innovation Center, U.S. Air Force Academy, named after USAFA graduate Paul Madera and his wife, Joan. The building sits behind Fairchild Hall and will be an innovation center of cyber and artificial intelligence technologies.

Kucera Legacy Center Opening Ceremony

Presentation of commissioned painting.
This painting features the Kucera Legacy Center at Falcon Stadium, U.S. Air Force Academy, named after Jack Kucera and his wife Vianne. Jack Kucera graduated the Air Force Academy in the class of 1978, but was not commissioned as an officer due to an injury sustained playing Falcon football as a cadet. His great love for the Academy induced him to donate over the years, with a recent significant gift going to the stadium project.
Composition includes the Kucera Legacy Center, the Rocky Mountain foothills, a T-41, and on the back side of the painting a red lining to commemorate Jack Kucera graduating in 1978, a red class.
