PRICING EXPLANATION: If you’ve already purchased a painting or considered doing so, you may have noticed price changes over the years. Initially, I was counseled by my (wonderful) local art gallery to price per square inch, plus materials. I still stick with that general guideline but on a sliding scale of less expensive per square inch as the paintings grow larger. I have raised the prices in general to cover my time and energy better, and I have *finally* solidified a good pricing formula. Older works are sometimes discounted, and the Class Color U.S. Air Force Academy paintings are less expensive than other works in similar sizes. 

 

FRAMES: I now price the unframed work, with framing at an additional cost. Frame options generally include a standard, modern, and/or museum frame.

 

COMMISSIONS: I learned that while commissions are an absolute delight and honor, they take a greater emotional toll and often time, so I have made them more expensive than standard pricing, unless extremely similar to a composition I’ve already done.

 

SHIPPING: I’ve recently made shipping complementary on all of my work, not just prints; however, non-flat special orders of prints or framed prints and international sales are subject to a shipping fee.
