The Artist

Glory is a Colorado artist whose favorite pursuit other than painting is hiking and wandering gorgeous Colorado and beyond.

She spent her childhood largely out of doors around the lakes, rivers, and fields of Minnesota, then she went on to attend the Air Force Academy and serve in the U.S. Air Force as a Public Affairs Officer on three continents.

Military service and a spirit of adventure opened doors for global travels that brought to life an appreciation of old world beauty, art, and charm.

My view after climbing Mount Elbert, the highest Colorado peak.

World travels grew a love of Old World beauty and traditional oil painting. Here, I'm at Levens Hall, UK.

Now settled on a ridge in Larkspur, Colorado where she lives with her retired military husband and their four children, she paints the places she hikes and travels, horse portraits, and Air Force Academy landscapes.

Painting developed as a hobby through her youth, and over time, she gravitated toward traditional, slow-curing oil paints as a means of carrying on the legacy of the early oil painters and connecting to the heritage and craftsmanship of humanity past. Through her work, she seeks to highlight the beauty that surrounds.

So many Colorado hikes with my four kiddos.

Testimonials

I love the attention to detail in Glory's work, which is why I purchased several items. But what blew me away was the customer service and professionalism in her business. The packaging was exquisite and the colors on the painting I purchased were even more vibrant than the online photo. I own a painting as well as some of her beautiful cards, and have received several comments from friends admiring and asking where I purchased them.

The greeting cards are of the highest quality paper and they look beautiful — an outstanding set of cards for me to use as thank you notes. Highly recommend.

Glory was fantastic to work with and her piece was beautiful. We were so thankful to find her work as a gift for our son's cadet sponsor family. She went out of her way to work within our tight timeframe and assisted with framing the piece so we could pick it up in person ready to go. Her communication was always quick. Her thoughtful touches, such as afixing our note of gratitude to the back and providing wrapping items, made this an ideal gift. We highly recommend Glory and her work!

I ordered several different prints on greeting cards for gifts. They are absolutely stunning! Glory worked with me to help me get exactly what I was looking for and she packaged them so nicely! I can't wait to give these to my family and friends for Christmas! I will definitely be ordering from Glory again! She is an amazing artist and a beautiful soul!
